Nakamise street
The mall has 89 shops Nakamise.The length of Nakamise main street is approximately 250m(approx. 274 yards). The beauty of integrated electric sign boards and seasonal decorations against stone pavement made visitors from overseas who just went through Kaminari-mon exclaime “Wonderful!” many times.
Age Manjyu (flied bean-jam bun)“Asakusa Kokonoe ”

The third shop from Sensoji temple. It does demonstration sale. Koshian (pasted bean jam) contained “Age Mangyu” (120 yen), Tsubuan (half smashed bean jam) “Goma Age Manjyu” with sesame seeds (140 yen), and three other Age Mangyu that contain different bean jams made by Maccha (green powdered tea), Pumpkin and sweet potato. Ningyo yaki pan cake “Kimuraya Sohonten”

The shop which is located the closet to Sensoji temple stocks the original pans and production methods from when it was founded in 1968. A 4 piece set of Ningyo yaki which carry the shapes of a paper lantern, a thunder god, the quintuple tower and a pigeon which are all associated with Asakusa costs 300 yen.

Okaki (fried small rice cracker) “Kineya”

Sold in this shop are three different Okaki rice crackers that are fried at high temperatures ; Salt taste, Soy source taste and “Kata Age” which contains green laver and has pure soy on it. It uses specially selected “Miya Kogane” rice for the dough, and newly harvested rice of “Uonuma Koshihirari” that is directly sent from the homestead for use in Charcoal Grilled Senbei (rice cracker). “Wazato Kowashi Warisen (Purposely Crushed Rice Cracker)” (650 yen) this is crushed on purpose and covered with authentically-brewed soy source. Both are also popular items.

Sumibiyaki Senbei (char-grilled rice cracker) “Ichibanya”

Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Just grill the Senbei (rice cracker) with charcoal then pour pure soy over it. It offers an earthy, natural taste. Atuyaki (100 yen), Usuyaki (50 yen). There are various flavours including peanuts, Yuzu pepper, etc. For a declaration of love? Heart shaped Senbei (150 yen)
